Ellen (Nellie) Barron, Née Rafter, Croan, Newmarket, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Catstown, Hugginstown.
Peacefully in the loving care of Anne and Chris and caring staff at Drakelands Nursing Home, Kilkenny on Thursday 22nd October 2020.
Pre-deceased by her husband Bill. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters Brigid, Eileen, Mary and Ann, sons Jim, John, Pat and Willie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Due to HSE and Covid-19 guidelines, and with the support of Ellen’s family, her funeral shall be private. For those who would have liked to attend Ellen’s Funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot do so, please use the online condolence page here as an option to offer your sympathies. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their understanding and support at this difficult time.

Peacefully at Saint Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Pre-deceased by her husband Mick. Eileen will be sadly missed by her son Michael, daughter Maura, son-in-law Martin, daughter-in-law Carol, grandchildren Conor, Fiona, Eoin, Áine and Micheál, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Cortege arriving at Saint Colman’s Church, Conahy on Sunday (October 25th) for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Castlecomer Parish Cemetery. (Church numbers limited to 25).

Seamus (Seamie) Maher (Stephen Street, Kilkenny) retired An Post. October 22nd (peacefully) at Drakelands House Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Maureen and loving father of Gary and Derek. He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law M.J. and Lydia, grandchildren Kiara, Brendan, Kay, Kimberly, Molly and Rachel, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Malone, Tom (Greenhills and late of Brownstown, Kilkenny) 23 October 2020. Peacefully, with his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Tallaght University Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Rita. Tom will be very deeply missed by his devoted daughter Fionnuala and son-in-law Niall; nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours and his former colleagues at The Central Mental Hospital, Dundrum. Predeceased by his brothers Willie, Paddy, Jim, Eamon, Mick, John and Joe also his sisters Nan and May.
A private family funeral for Tom will take place in accordance with current Government guidelines. A personal message of Condolence may be left in the CONDOLENCES section here for the Malone family.
