REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

John FITZGERALD
College Road, Kilkenny City/Stepaside, Dublin

John FitzGerald, College Road, Kilkenny City and formerly of Stepaside, Dublin, passed away peacefully on Sunday 25th October 2020 at Tinnypark Nursing Home, Kilkenny City surrounded by his devoted family. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lillian (nee Cullen), his son Ross and daughter Lisa. Deeply missed by his son-in-law Matt, brothers-in-law Wattie and Pierce Cullen, his grandson Jack and granddaughter Lauren, extended family, brothers and sisters, and friends.

In accordance with current Government / HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place, for immediate family only. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland. House strictly private, please.

John’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all of the staff at Tinnypark Nursing Home, Kilkenny City and all of the staff at St. Gabriel’s Ward, Kilkenny City.

Phelim died peacefully on Sunday, 25 October at his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Marika and much loved father; sadly missed by his brothers, their partners and Phelim’s extended family and friends.

The funeral will take place in accordance with current Covid-19 Government/HSE guidelines.

Interment will take place on Wednesday, 28 October, at 3.30pm in Woodbrook Natural Burial Ground, Co. Wexford. For those unable to attend, the Service will be recorded and a link will be posted at a later date. The Family would like to thank you for your sympathy and support at this difficult time.
