Peacefully in the gentle and kind care of all the staff in Room 3 Surgical at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and in the presence of his family. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Teresa (nee Rodgers, formerly of Kilkeel, Co. Down), his parents John and Anne and his dear siblings William, Mary Margaret, Josephine, John and Michael. Deeply missed by his children Carmel, Marr, James, John, and Bernadette, daughter-in-law Frances, son-in-law Vincent, sister-in-law Eileen McAleenan, Castlewellan, Co. Down. Sadly missed by his dear grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, his good and kind neighbours, and compassionate carers, and his exceptional choral companions in Castlecomer Male Voice Choir.
In accordance with current Government/HSE guidelines and in the interest of public health and the safety of our most vulnerable, a Private Family Funeral will take place for James Christopher with Requiem Mass celebrated on Tuesday (5th January) at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Moneenroe (max. 10 people in church), with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. FISHER Dr Jonathan Charles (Inistioge,Co. Kilkenny, formerly of DIT Kevin Street and TCD) – January 1, 2021, suddenly, at home. Deeply missed by his partner Kate, his children Darragh, Naomi and Daniel and their mother Wyn, his brother Michael, sister Sheila, adored grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Bridget (Biddy) SHALLOE (née O’Hagan)
Kilmurry Lane, Slieverue, Kilkenny/Ferrybank, Waterford
Bridget (Biddy) Shalloe, Kilmurry Lane, Slieverue, Co Kilkenny, who died on Saturday, 2nd January 2021, peacefully, at University Hospital, Waterford, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Tommy, daughter Martina. Biddy will be sadly missed by her sons Michael and Peter, daughter-in-law Angela, Mary, grandchildren Luke and Jamie, brother-in-law Paddy, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews family, neighbours and friends.
Biddy’s removal will take place on Tuesday, 5th January, to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
