Peacefully, on Sunday 18th April 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.

Pre-deceased by his wife Mary. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, daughter Margaret, sons JJ, Michael and Joe, son-in-law James, daughter-in-law Lorraine, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister May, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, family and friends.

Mary O’DONNELL (née O’Brien)
Callan, Kilkenny/Fethard, Tipperary

Mary O’Donnell (Nee O’Brien), Owning House Retirement Village, Owning, Co. Kilkenny. Formerly of Market Hill, Fethard, Co. Tipperary and Callan, Co. Kilkenny.

Peacefully on Friday 16th April 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Pre-deceased by her husband Brian. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, son Philip, daughter-in-law Sarah, grandchildren Joseph and Jack, brother Eddie, sister-in-law Nell, brother-in-law Dermot, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, family and friends.

Due to the current Level 5, HSE and Government restrictions regarding public gatherings, Mary’s funeral will take place privately (for 10 family members only). Funeral will leave Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan on Monday morning, 19th April 2021, arriving at The Church of the Assumption, Callan for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in Killusty Churchyard, Fethard at 1pm approximately. For those unable to attend due to restrictions, the Funeral Mass can be viewed live on churchmedia.ie (Callan Parish)

James (Jim) PHELAN
The Quay, Thomastown

m passed away peacefully at home on Friday, 16 April in the presence of his loving family at the age of 85 years. Jim is pre-deceased by his loving wife Ann (nee Begley), brother Finbar, mother Kathleen and father Richard. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son Anthony, daughters Kathleen, Margaret, Ann-Marie and Bernadette; sons-in-law Pat, Trevor, Noel and Gerry; grandchildren Kevin, Gavin, Kyle, Vickie, Ciara, Dylan, Ceabhlóm, Aaron, Leah, Conor, James, Tara, Sophie, Keeva and Ryan; great-grandson Jackson; brother Dickie; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, all extended family and many, many friends.

A private family funeral will take place on Monday with Requiem Mass at 11 am in the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown which can be viewed on Thomastown Parish web-cam Click here
