O’Connor (nee Doherty). Ballyveria, and late of Davidstown, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny. 6th May 2021. Nellie, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by loving husband Luke, grandson Luke O’Connor, brothers Jimmy, Paddy, John, Dick, sisters Mary Heffernan and Jo Ryan. Deeply regretted by her loving children Bridget Murphy, Mary Ffrench, Kathleen Dunphy, George, Josie Curran, John, Paul, Martina Furlong, Louie and Aidan, sister Stasia Commins (Piltown), brother Willie Doherty (Ferrybank), brother–in-law Stephen O’Connor, sisters-in-law Bessie Doherty, Aileen Doherty and Kathleen Doherty, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Due to Government restrictions regarding Covid-19, Nellie will repose privately at her residence. Funeral to arrive at St James’ Church, Glenmore on Sunday, 9th May, for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Mass will be restricted to family only max 25 people and can be viewed on www.glenmoreparish.ie.
Nellies funeral cottége will leave her residence at 10.30am Sunday morning en route to Glenmore via Ballyfacey giving neighbours and friends an opportunity to pay their respects.

A private Funeral Mass (max. 25 people) will take place in St Lachtain’s Church, Freshford, on Sunday a 1 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Lachtain’s Cemetery. Please observe Government guidelines regarding face coverings and handshaking in Churchyard and Cemetery.
