Valerie Kelly Conway, 3rd June 2021, 22 Lower Acorns, Castlecomer, in her 48th year. Pre-deceased by her father Martin. Valerie will be sadly missed by her daughter Clodagh, husband Eugene, mother Julie, brother Jonathan, sister Nicola, nieces and nephews; Abbie, Cory, Aaron and Ryan, aunts and uncles, sisters and brothers-in-law, extended family and many friends.
A private family funeral will take place on Tuesday, 8th June, 2021, with Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer (limited to 50 people), followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
There will be an opportunity for the community to remember Valerie and support her family by being present, socially distanced, on Tuesday morning en route from Valerie’s home.
Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot do so, are invited to leave a personal message in the condolence section here. This will be greatly appreciated by the family who would like to thank you for your sympathy and support at this difficult time.

Nellie passed away peacefully. Wife of the late Andy. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Andrew and Brendan, daughters Marian and Margaret, brother Paddy, sisters Betty, Mary, Teresa and Kate, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing on Monday at Donnacha Doyle & Son’s Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Arriving on Tuesday at The Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Burial after in the adjoining cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only please.

lood (née Power) Judy Anne, Baldoyle and formerly of Knockroe, Windgap, Co. Kilkenny and late of the CRC. 5th June 2021. Peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Edward (Teddy). Predeceased by her brothers James and Lawrence. Very sadly missed by her loving sisters Mary Reddington (Baldoyle) and Eileen (Wazzie) Kenneally (Hugginstown), brothers Sean (Owning) and Pat (Knockroe), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Due to Government advice regarding public gatherings, a private family Funeral Service will take place. The death has taken place of
DAVID (DAVY) HENNESSY
Late of Clohastia, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny.
Davy died peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Gabriel’s Ward, St. Canice’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his loving parents John and Margaret, his sister Mary, his brothers Paddy, Christy and Vesty. Sadly missed by his brother John, his sisters in law Kitty, Joan, Eithne and Sheila, his nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Davy in Duiske Abbey, Graignamanagh, at 11am on Monday morning, following all Covid 19 government safety restrictions. The Funeral Mass may be viewed online and a link will be added to this notice on Monday morning. Burial will follow in St. Mullins’ Cemetery. The funeral cortege will travel from Clohastia to Duiske Abbey from 10.45am on Monday morning to Duiske Abbey for Funeral Mass to facilitate anyone who may wish to stand on the roadside in sympathy with Davy’s family.
