Caroline Burke Née Browne Roseglen, Airmount, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny, and late of Edenmore, Dublin 5, who died on Sunday 5th September 2021

Peacefully, at University Hospital Waterford, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Madge Browne. Caroline will be sadly missed by her loving husband Michael, daughter Leanne, sons Cíaran and Colm, grandchildren Stephen, Bailey, Sophia, Saoirse and Daisy, sister Loraine (Devitt), brothers Dermot, Peter, Eamon and Gerard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Caroline will be reposing in Power’s Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Wednesday, 8th September, from 5pm until 7pm. Caroline’s removal will take place on Thursday, 9th September, walking from her home at 9.40am to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by a family cremation in the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork at 2pm.

Lucy (Louise) Dooley (Kilkenny City, Kilkenny) September 6th 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Beloved wife of the late T.J. She will be forever missed by her loving daughters Linda, Annemarie and Carol, sons-in-law Jeremy and John, her adored grandchildren Amy, Lorna, Jenny, Niall, Jack and Connor, great-grandchildren Ellie and Eve, and her much loved extended family.

In accordance with Lucy’s wishes a private family funeral will take place. Lucy’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11a.m. on Wednesday in St. Joseph’s Church, Foulkstown followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery.

45, New Orchard, Golflinks Road, Kilkenny City/Goresbridge

The death has occurred of John Mahon, 45, New Orchard, Golflinks Rd. Kilkenny, formerly of Duninga, Gorsebridge, who passed away peacefully at Castlecomer District Hospital on Sunday, the 5th of September 2021, after a short illness. Sadly missed by his son David, Dawn and his grandchildren Dale and Fiadh. His brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces & nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

John’s funeral will take place in accordance with HSE guidelines. Reposing at Breen’s Funeral Home from 5pm – 9pm on Tuesday, the 7th for family and close friends only. Removal Prayers at 1pm, Wednesday the 8th. Requiem Mass at the Holy Trinity Church, Goresbridge, for 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetary.

YONG Margaret (Peggie), (Nee Fox), (of Beaumont, Dublin 9, formerly Woodsgift, Co. Kilkenny), September 5th 2021, peacefully after a long illness, under the wonderful care of all the staff in St Pauls Ward, Beaumont Hospital. Beloved wife of Marshal; very sadly missed by her daughters Ire and Lienire, their partners Lee and Colin, and all brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and the dogs.

Reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Maypark on Tuesday, September 7th from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to Our Lady of Consolation Church, Donnycarney for 10am Mass. Eva Morova (Roberts Hill, Kilkenny City) died peacefully on Saturday 4th September 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny, surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her devoted husband Tibor, sons Tibor, Robert, and daughter-in-law Barbara. Will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, brothers, sisters, their families, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current Government/H.S.E guidelines and in the interest of public health a private funeral for family and close friends will take place for Eva.

Reposing at Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City on Tuesday evening (7th September) from 6 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Removal on Wednesday (8th September) to St. John’s Church, Kilkenny City for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by interment afterwards in St. Kieran’s Cemetery. As per Covid 19 Directives please comply with Government guidelines regarding social distancing, face covering and hand shaking.
