REST IN PEACE: Kilkenny Death Notices

Peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Friday 3rd December 2021. Deeply regretted by his family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother-in-law, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan on Monday, 6th December from 5pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Prayers on Tuesday morning at 10am followed by removal to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Kilmanagh for Requiem Mass at 11am. A private cremation will take place afterwards.

Peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Thursday, 2nd December 2021.

Pre-deceased by her sons Martin, Milo, Noel and Johnny. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her husband of 72 years Paddy, daughters Teresa, Anne and Josephine, sons Ger, Eamon and Pat, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Lucy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan on Saturday 4th December from 6pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Prayers on Sunday morning at 11.15am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.

The death has taken place of John Holmes, (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St Luke’s Hospital. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Edel, son Jonathan, daughter Louise, sister Sandra, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, mother-in-law Imelda, nephews, nieces, John’s best friend Brian O’Neill, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Saturday from 2pm with Rosary at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass in St John’s Church on Sunday morning at 11.30am. Interment afterwards in St. Kieran’s Cemetery. Kevin O’ Donnell, Bramblestown, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny in his 96th year died 3rd December peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved husband of Ann, father to Joan, Kevin, Paul and the late Andrew. Cherished grandfather to John, Phillip, Christine, Grace, Andy, Sarah, Ellen, Eva and Luke. Sadly missed by his son-in-law Joe, daughters-in-law Miriam and Breidette, brothers Kieran and Joe, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Sunday 5th December from 3pm – 7pm. Funeral cortege arriving at The Church of the Assumption, Gowran on Monday 6th December for requiem mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Reposing at Doyles Funeral Home, Urlingford from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday. Requiem mass on Sunday at 11am in St Kieran’s Church, Johnstown, followed by burial in Johnstown cemetery.

The death has occurred of Billy Bambrick, Baurnafea, Castlewarren, Co. Kilkenny, suddenly, at his home, on December 1st 2021. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Mary, Kathleen and Anne-Marie, brother John sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Pat, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Somers’ Funeral Home, Bagenalstown, on Saturday afternoon from 2pm, concluding with Funeral Prayers at 9pm.

Funeral Mass on Sunday afternoon at 2pm in the Church of the Assumption, Paulstown. Burial immediately afterwards in the Holy Family Cemetery, Paulstown.
