Doherty (66 Assumption Place, Kilkenny) 25th January 2022, peacefully, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Joe, beloved husband of the late Eithna and much loved father of Ina and Niamh, sadly missed by his loving daughters, sister Dolly, grandchildren Adam, Megan and Bryan, great granddaughter Pippa, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home on Wednesday (26th Jan) from 5pm with Funeral Prayers at 6.15pm followed by removal to St. John’s Church. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 10.30am. Funeral afterwards to Foulkstown Cemetery. House private please.

Kathleen (Kitty) GANNON (née Kennedy)

Kitty died peacefully in the loving care of nurses and staff at Fennor Care Facility Urlingford. Predeceased by her husband Michael and brother Richard. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Michelle, son in law Tony, adoring grandchildren James and Michael, brothers Tom, Jim, Pete and Sean, sisters Eileen, Bridget and Mary, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Urlingford on Wednesday evening from 5.30pm until 7.30pm followed by removal to St. Kieran’s Church, Johnstown arriving at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11am followed by burial in Johnstown Cemetery.

Suddenly, but peacefully at Waterford University Hospital, on Monday 24th January 2022.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Teresa, son Rob, grandsons Stephen and Robert, brother Albert, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan on Thursday 27th January from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Prayers on Friday morning at 10am followed by removal to St. Brendan’s Church, Stoneyford for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Formerly of Clogga, Mooncoin. Michael passed away peacefully on Monday in the loving care of the staff at University Hospital Waterford. Predeceased by his brother Richard and sisters Peggie and Josephine. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Helen, son Liam, daughter Elaine, brothers Nicholas, Tom and Paul, sisters Teresa and Nora, son-in-law Ciaran, Liam’s partner Jeanne-Marie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Wednesday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 5:00pm until 7:00pm followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Piltown, arriving at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11:00am. Burial after in Owning Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to St Vincent de Paul.

Edward Noel Walsh
Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and Whetstone, London
Who died 19th January 2022.

Peacefully, at Barnet General hospital surrounded by his daughters Sinead and Michelle. Predeceased by his wife Jean, parents William and Ellen, brothers and sisters. Noel will be sadly missed by his loving daughters Sinead (Fells) and Michelle (Walsh), grandsons Tommy and Jack, his brother Peter, sisters Eily (Kirwin), Kitty (Hartley), June (Walsh) and Carmel (Walsh), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Noel’s Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday 9th February at 10:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Arnos Grove, London N11 1AA, followed by the burial at Islington & St Pancras Cemetery, 278 High Rd, London N2 9AG.
