‘Sadly missed’ – young Kilkenny dad killed in road tragedy to be laid to rest on Monday
THE young father-of-one who was tragically killed in a road accident outside Castlecomer will be buried after a funeral mass on Monday.
David Boland, who lived in Cloneen, Crettyard, died after his motorbike was involved in a collision with a lorry on the N78 around two miles outside Castlecomer at 11am on Thursday.
His remains will repose at Coady’s Funeral Home in Castlecomer tomorrow from 3pm before being removed for Requiem Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception at 11am on Monday, with burial afterwards at the adjourning cemetery.
In a moving tribute, David’s family said he will be “sadly missed by his loving wife Lorraine and daughter Lily-May. Devoted Parents Richard and Ann and sister Susan. Mother-in-law Catherine and Father-in-law Anthony. Grandmothers Mary and Anna. Uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends and colleagues at Glanbia.”
