Six new cases of Covid-19 in Kilkenny, three patients with virus being treated at St Luke’s Hospital
Six new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Kilkenny, according to the latest county breakdown of infections.
Six new cases have also been confirmed in neighbouring Carlow. The combined 12 cases were part of the 92 new infections reported by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET).
There is now a total of 26,929 confirmed cases of the virus in Ireland. The overall death toll remains the same at 1,774.
Meanwhile, St Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny is currently treating three patients with confirmed cases, according to the latest Covid-19 Daily Operations Update for Acute Hospitals.
