Six pups stolen from Kilkenny house just moments after owner fed them

Six puppies have been stolen from a house in Kilkenny city.
The seven-week-old Cardigan Corgi puppies were stolen from a dog house at a home in the Waterford Road area of the city at 10pm last night.
A local Garda source confirmed the owner heard squealing coming from the dog house minutes after the six puppies were fed. The owner rushed back to the pups, but found the kennel gates opened and the dogs were gone.
It is the latest horrific case involving puppies who have been stolen from homes in the Kilkenny area. Two weeks ago 10 Cavapoo pups were stolen from a house in Freshford.
Potential witnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time is urged to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
