Slick burglar makes off with home heating fuel and engine oil from county Kilkenny home
A slippery burglar managed to get away with fuel and machine oil after breaking into a yard in county Kilkenny.
The burglary happened at Pollagh, Skeoughvosteen, Goresbridge between midday on Friday, February 7 and midday on Wednesday, February 12.
The intruder made their way to the boiler house in the yard, where they broke a glass panel to gain entry. Once inside they emptied the oil from the heating tank and stole a pile of logs.
They also made off with a battery used in a Jeep engine and four drums of hydraulic oil.
Gardai are appealing for anyone with information or who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area around that time to contact Goresbridge Garda Station on 059 977 5202.
