SPONSORED: Great Lengths – turning heads at the Mane Event

THE main event was the Dublin Horse Show but The Mane Event, which followed, was the one that turned heads.

The evening saw a host of stylish ladies descend on HOUSE in Dublin’s Leeson Street to take part in a best dressed competition, celebrating all things hats and hair.

It was organised by Great Lengths, the hair extension specialists, and hosted by Great Lengths ambassador, Lottie Ryan.

VIP guests included other Great Lengths ambassadors, Holly Carpenter, Rebecca Rose Quigley, Emma Power, Brittany Mason, and newly crowned Miss Universe Ireland Fionnghuala O’Reilly.

Judges on the evening were Irish milliner Margaret O’Connor, fashion editor Elle Gordon and top Irish model Aoife Walsh.

Linda Malone, from Co. Meath, was the winner of the main prize for the best headpiece and walked away with a €1,000 voucher for Great Lengths, a bespoke Margaret O’Connor hat, and an overnight stay and dinner for two in HOUSE.

Great Lengths are world leaders in premium quality hair extensions using 100 per cent ethically sourced, human hair.

The company launched its luxury extensions some 25 years ago and they can now be found in more than 60 countries across the world.

The finished product is of the highest quality – available in a vast selection of glossy tones and lengths, and suitable for all hair types.

But they are not just for length. Great Lengths can be applied to add thickness and colour to your natural hair, giving you the voluminous locks in the colours you’ve always dreamed of.

At a consultation, your stylist will assess your natural hair to ascertain what length is required to achieve your dream style.

Colour will also be carefully considered under the stylist’s expert eye. From beautiful blondes, rich reds and glossy brunettes, to pretty pastels and eye-catching jewel tones; the extensive Great Lengths range offers something for everyone.

Great Lengths take pride in the colouring process which ensures the condition of the hair remains of the finest quality and is expertly blended to achieve a natural look.

There’s an extra little bonus with Great Lengths extensions because Great Lengths and the Little Princess Trust have teamed up to make wishes come true.

Great Lengths hair extensions wearers can now donate their used extensions to the Little Princess Trust, for use in their real-hair wigs for children who have suffered hair loss.

The charity has been accepting donations from Great Lengths since 2015, after the collaboration was initiated by Great Lengths extensionist, James Henderson.

Great Lengths have set new standards in quality. They let you build volume, add dimension, experiment with bold new colours or apply texture. Whatever your dream style, you can achieve it with Great Lengths.
