The last straw: Thieves steal €2,000 worth of parts from baler parked in Kilkenny yard
Thieves broke into a yard in Kilkenny and stole parts off a farm machine, immobilizing it in the process.
The theft occurred on the New Road in Kilkenny sometime between 10am and 2pm last Saturday.
It appears the thieves knew exactly what they were looking for as they removed the control panel from a McHale Baler and fled.
No other damage was caused to the baler or any other machinery.
Gardai estimate the cost of the control panel to be in the region of €2,000.
Witnesses or anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
