Thief captured on CCTV stealing drums of diesel from house in Kilkenny city
A FUEL thief was captured on CCTV jumping over a wall into a house in Kilkenny city before making off with three drums of diesel.
The incident occurred at Johnswell Road, Garringreen, on Tuesday, May 21, at around 10.50pm.
The drums of diesel were taken from the yard at the side of a house where the owner is building an extension.
A local Garda spokesperson said the investigation “is ongoing”. They have urged any who may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 555 7000.
