Thief steals sign and replaces it with Kilkenny flag
GARDAI are looking for a Kilkenny supporter but whose efforts to show their love of the Cats resulted in them breaking the law.
The thief made off with an old bed and breakfast sign from outside a house in Stoneyford, and then for some reason decided to leave a Kilkenny flag in its place.
The unusual theft happened outside a former B&B at Ennisstag, Stoneyford sometime between Tuesday, July 30 and Sunday, August 4.
Gardai say the sign is of sentimental value to the owner.
