Thief ransacks house in rural Kilkenny
A burglar ransacked a house in rural Kilkenny after he broke in through a back window.
The incident occurred sometime between 4pm on Saturday and midday on Sunday in the Lakyle area near Callan.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed: “A window at the rear of the property was forced open and the house was ransacked, nothing was taken.”
Anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to contact Callan Garda Station.
