Thief ransacks rural Kilkenny house and makes off with cash and gold watch
A burglar broke into a house in county Kilkenny and made off with cash and a valuable gold watch after ransacking the property.
The break-in occurred at a house in Garrandaragh, Mullinavat sometime between 3pm and 8pm on Thursday.
A local Garda spokesperson told KilkennyNow: “The back door was forced open to gain entry. The house was ransacked cash and a mens gold watch were taken.”
Anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to contact Mullinavat Garda Station.
