Thieves target Kilkenny relief road construction site and steal expensive equipment

Thieves broke into a large construction site in Kilkenny over the weekend and made off with some expensive equipment belonging to the main contractor.

The thieves managed to gain entry to the site of the Kilkenny inner relief road close to the Callan Road roundabout between 6pm on Friday 27 and 7am on Saturday 28 of February.

They then set about removing a large water tank owned by the main contractors and getting it off the site without anyone seeing.
