Second case of coronavirus confirmed in Ireland
A woman in the east of Ireland who recently returned from Italy has been confirmed with coronavirus.
It is the second case of Covid-19 in the Republic after a teenager was diagnosed with it at the weekend.
A third person in Northern Ireland also has the virus.
Almost 400 people in the Republic have been tested for for virus with only two testing positive.
The Department of Health said it was notified only this evening of the new case and the process of tracing contacts has begun but it was not releasing any further details.
