Tragdy as man’s body found in river near Kilkenny-Tipperary border
Gardai are investigating the discovery of a man’s body in a river near the Kilkenny-Tipperary border.
The man, who is understood to have been in his 40s, were recovered in the Gortnahoe area at lunchtime on Wednesday.
His remains were removed to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem examination, which will determine the course of the Garda investigation.
However, it is understood the inident is currently being treated at a tragic incident.
