Wait no more: New alternative club night ‘Purgatory’ launches in Kilkenny

A BRAND new club night, giving Kilkenny partygoers an “alternative” option on a night out – is throwing its doors open just in time for Halloween.

“Purgatory Nightclub” plugs into the sound system at Kytelers Inn for the very first time tomorrow, Bank Holiday Sunday.

Kytelers is the ideal Halloween venue as it was once the home of Ireland’s first-person condemned for witchcraft, Alice Kytler.

‘Purgatory’ is the brainchild of  “Cheap Heat Productions” who’s alternative parties have taken Dublin’s nightlife to a new and exciting level.

Cheap Heat parties feature all kinds of events from Wrestling viewings, to gaming nights and alternative club nights.

Purgatory Club is for people who don’t want the same old songs on repeat all night and are looking for something a bit new.

Purgatory features two local Kilkenny DJ’s – “DJ Mixer” and “DJ Chartreuse,” who promise a mix of everything from metal to pop everything in between.

So it appears Purgatory has been found! It’s upstairs in Kytelers Inn (upstairs) and admission tomorrow night is free.
