Wheels of justice: Kilkenny gardai recover several bikes after spate of thefts in city
Gardai in Kilkenny have recoverd a number of bicycles following a spate of thefts in the city recently and are nowlooking to reunite them with their owners.
The most recent recovery occurred yesterday evening after gardai searched a premises on the outskirts of city. During the search, gardai recovered a black and yellow Carrera male racing bicycle and are now looking to reunite it with its owner.
On Sunday gardai on patrol in Kilkenny city seized two bikes and again are looking for their owners. Both bikes are hybrid mountain bikes, one is jet black while the other is a silver and rose coloured bike.
Also last week, Kilkenny gardai recovered a bike abandoned that was abandoned outside a house on Parnell St. The bike is a man’s Carrera matt black mountain bike. It has two locks, a kryptonite lock and a steel wire lock attached.
Gardai are urging the owners to come forward if they recognise any of these bikes and contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
