Scenes of chaos in Kilkenny city estate, car windscreen smashed and wheel stolen

There were chaotic scenes at a Kilkenny city housing estate after a thief smashed the front windscreen of a car parked in the driveway outside the owner’s home.

The vandal also stole a spare wheel from the vehicle before leaving the scene.

The bizarre incident occurred outside a house in Burrell’s Walk, College Park last Friday, shortly before 9pm.

Gardai are investigating the theft and act of vandalism. They have urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
