‘You just had to look into Nadine’s big beautiful eyes and you could see her kind soul’

“Beautiful both inside and out” is how work colleagues remember their friend, young mother Nadine Lott who tragically lost her brave fight for life on Tuesday following a horrific assault at her home in Arklow.
Nadine’s devastated colleagues at the Clearskin Skin and Laser Clinic in Dublin today paid a touching and poignant tribute to her on the company’s Facebook page.
“We are all heartbroken about our beautiful Nadine,” they wrote. “Nadine was the best colleague; she was funny, kind and beautiful both inside and out.
“She brought sunshine and light to the clinic with her beautiful smile. You just had to look into Nadine’s big beautiful eyes and you could see her kind soul. Nadine was a very special Mum, a very special daughter, sister and friend.
“Nadine, we are going to miss you so much. ??.”
The 30-year-old mother was well-known and loved by everyone who knew her in her hometown of Arklow, where up to to 1,000 people turned out for a vigil on Tuesday night.
Wicklow TD Stephen Donnelly was among the many who paid tribute to the young woman, adding: “My deepest sympathies go out to Nadine’s family and in particular her child. I can’t imagine the horror they are going through at the moment.”
Earleir today, Wicklow County Council opened a Book of Condolence in memory of Nadine, which can be accessed online at: https://www.wicklow.ie/Living/Your-Council/Customer-Care/Books-of-Condolence.
Meanwhile, groups that help victims of domestic violence are reporting a huge surge in calls since news of Nadine’s passing emerged earlier this week.
Stop Domestic Violence in Ireland (SDVII) founder Priscilla Grainger said: “Nadine’s death has touched the lives of so many people and our deepest sympathies go out to her family and loved ones. We’ve seen a massive increase in calls over the past few days from people. This has really touched a nerve with people right across the country.”
