Family run store in county Kilkenny village sells €6.8 million winning Lotto ticket

Champagne corks will be popping at a store in a Kilkenny village this afternoon after it was announced where Saturday’s winning Lotto jackpot ticket was sold.

Blanchfield’s Centra Store in Mooncoin was the store where the lucky winner bought the golden ticket worth a whopping €6,834,410.

The winner has still not come forward and made themselves know to the National Lottery, who are appealing to Lotto players in county Kilkenny and surrounding areas to check their Lotto tickets to see if they have won this life-changing prize.

The winning Lotto numbers are: 13, 16, 18, 25, 38, 41 and the bonus number was 1.

Since 1988, there have been 25 Lotto jackpot winners in Co. Kilkenny who have shared a whopping €36.1 million in jackpot prizes between them.

The spokesperson for the National Lottery continued: “If you happen to be holding this golden Lotto ticket it’s important to remain calm. Be sure to sign the back of the ticket, keep it safe and contact the National Lottery prize claims team as soon as you can on 01 836 4444.”
