25 speeding motorists – including driver doing 103kph in 50kph zone – clocked on Kilkenny road
A total of 25 motorists were clocked over the limit on a Kilkenny road that is becoming notorious for speeding offences.
Gardai conducted more speed checks on the Kilkenny Road in Bennettsbridge on Monday evening after residents complained about the volume of speeding vehicles in the area.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed 25 vehicles were stopped for speeding on the road, including one car which was detected traveling at 103kph in the 50kph zone.
The spokesperson urged motorists: “Please slow down and adhere to speed limits. Be mindful of pedestrians and cyclists.”
