LATEST: Kilkenny among 394 new cases of virus, no further deaths confirmed

There have been no further coronavirus related deaths but 394 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed this evening.

The overall death toll as a result of the virus remains at 4,785. There has been a total of 241,330 confirmed cases of Covid-19 across the country, according to the latest daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET).

The breakdown of the latest cases is as follows: 175 are in Dublin, 34 in Kildare, 21 in Galway, 21 in Mayo, 20 in Limerick with the remaining 123 cases are spread across 18 other counties. Less than five new cases were recorded in Kilkenny.
