Lena CANTWELL (née Harding)
Baun, Dunmore

Cantwell (nee Harding) (Baun, Dunmore, Kilkenny and formerly of Esker, Jenkinstown and Arizona, USA) 17th October 2021, peacefully, at home in the loving care of her family, Lena, beloved wife of Denis and much loved mother of Mark and Paul, sadly missed by her loving husband and sons, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home (R95 FC63) on Monday (18th Oct) from 4 pm concluding with Rosary at 6.30pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Dunmore, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. (50% capacity in Church). Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Tuesday please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Carlow Kilkenny Home Care Team https://www.carlowkilkennyhomecareteam.ie/

Catherine (Kitty) HALSEY (née Walsh)
Kiln Road, Slieverue, Kilkenny/Waterford

Kitty passed away, peacefully, at her home. Predeceased by her husband Jim, son Joe, parents Maggie and Dick, brothers John, Jimmy, Richie and Mickey. Deeply regretted by her daughters Esther, Margaret and Ann, sons Michael, Ger, Eamonn, Anthony, John and Larry, sisters Alice, Mary, Eileen, Betty and Theresa, brothers Tommy and Eamonn, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Monday from 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Arriving on Tuesday at The Church of the Assumption, Slieverue, for requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Burial after in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations to the Cancer Society.

BUTLER (Mayfield, Kilmacow, Kilkenny and London): On October 15th 2021, peacefully, surrounded by his family in the excellent care of the staff at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, JOE (Buckleys of Rylane & Irish Vintage Society), beloved husband of Geraldine (née Hurley), loving father of Joe and Rose, grandfather of Jack, son of Anna and the late Joseph.

Sadly, missed by his loving wife and family, brothers Michael, Thomas, Leo and Keith, daughter-in-law Sarah, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road of Jerh. O’ Connor Ltd. on Sunday (October 17th) from 2pm to 4pm for family, close friends and neighbours only.

Requiem Mass at 2.30pm on Monday (October 18th) in the Church of Our Lady Crowned, Mayfield. (Under new government guidelines the capacity of the church is limited to 50%) but the Requiem Mass can be viewed on http://olcmayfield.ie/livestream/

Margaret Mullally (McCauley Place, Kilkenny) October 15th 2021 (peacefully) after a short illness at Castlecomer District Hospital. Beloved mother of Emily and loving sister of Kay, Moll, Tess and Mike. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, sisters, brother, uncles, aunts, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass for Margaret will be celebrated on Monday (Oct. 18th) at 11a.m. in St. Mary’s Cathedral (50% capacity of the Cathedral) followed by interment in St. Lachtain’s Cemetery, Freshford, Co. Kilkenny.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, sisters Mary and Ann, brother Paddy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Hehir’s Funeral Home from 5p.m. on Monday (Oct. 18th) with Funeral Prayers at 6.6.30p.m. followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church. Requiem Mass for Mick will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11a.m. (50% capacity of the Church) followed by interment in Foulkstown Cemetery.
