THE Ambassador to Ireland from the world’s second-largest population and one of its fastest-growing economies is coming to Kilkenny to meet local business leaders.
His Excellency Mr. Sandeep Kumar, the Indian Ambassador to Ireland, will visit Kilkenny tomorrow in an effort to further business relations between the city and the ambassador’s home country.
Mr Kumar will meet with representatives of Kilkenny Chamber and local business leaders at MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre at 11 am, before taking lunch with Mayor of Kilkenny, Martin Brett.
The visit is part of the Indian Embassy’s provincial outreach programme exploring Irish industry and business with an eye to future business partnerships.
After the official functions conclude, the Ambassador (pictured above with An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar) will take some time out to visit the sights of Kilkenny.
