The Ombudsman for Children’s Office (OCO) received 24 complaints from and on behalf of children in Kilkenny in 2020. A further 433 people have contracted Covid-19, according to latest figures provided by the Department of Health. There are now 43 patients in hospital with the disease, 13 of whom are being treated in ICU. In Northern Ireland, 298 new positive cases of Covid-19 and no further deaths were reported today.
