BREAKING: Drug dealer arrested outside gates of school in Kilkenny city
A SUSPECTED drug dealer was arrested outside the gates of a secondary school in Kilkenny city as students were on their lunch break.
The 34-year-old man was seen by gardai acting suspiciously outside the school at 1pm on Friday.
A Garda source told KilkennyNow.ie: “Gardai approached the suspect and saw a large bag of cannabis sticking out of his hoodie pocket.”
The suspect was arrested and taken to Kilkenny Garda Station for questioning.
He was subsequently released on bail and is due to appear before Kilkenny District Court on June 4.
