Gardai probe sudden death of man in Kilkenny city
GARDAI are investigating the sudden death of a man in the city.
The body of the main, who was in his early 70s, was discovered in a house in the St Patrick’s Close area of the city in the early hours of this morning.
Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene.
The cause of death is not yet known. The State Pathologist is expected to travel to Kilkenny this evening to carry out a post-mortem examination on the main’s remains.
