Burglar break-into Kilkenny city-centre premises under cover of darkness
Burglars broke into a shop in Kilkenny city-centre in the early hours of this morning and made off with a number of items.
The break-in occurred at a premises on the High Street shortly before 4.30am.
No injuries were reported but gardai confirmed a number of goods were stolen.
Witnesses of anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000.
