Kilkenny homeowner shocked as burglar breaks-in through roof of his home

A Kilkenny homeowner got the shock of their life when a burglar burst into their home.

The incident occurred at a house on the Old Loughlin Road in the city between 7.30pm and 7.40pm on Tuesday evening.

The homeowner was in the house when the burglar managed to break-in through a window on a flat roof of the property.

The burglar fled after startling the homeowner and left without taking anything.
