Burlgars make off with jewellery and cash after break-in at home in Kilkenny city
Burglars made off with jewellery and cash after they broke into a home in Kilkenny city and ransacked the property.
The theft occurred at a house in Laurel Hill on the Castlecomer Road sometime between 1.45pm and 7.45pm on Saturday.
The thieves gained entry to the property via the back door.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed: “The house was ransacked – jewellery and coins were taken.”
