Gardai find €12,000 worth of weed in rural Kilkenny raid

TWO men were arrested after gardai raided a rural Kilkenny premises and found €12,000 worth of cannabis plants growing inside.
The raid by the Carlow/ Kilkenny Divisional Drugs Unit took place in a rural part of North Kilkenny, last Monday.
During a search of the premises, plants with a value of €12,000 were discovered.
Two men were arrested at the scene and brought to Kilkenny Garda Station for questioning.
The two men have since been charged and will appear before Kilkenny District Court.
