Car window smashed as vehicle was parked on Kilkenny city street
A car owner got a nasty surprise when they found the rear window of their vehicle was smashed in while parked on a Kilkenny city street.
The incident occurred between midnight and 3am last Sunday, December 21 on Castle Road.
A local Garda spokesperson said the car, a white Kia ProCeed, had its rear window smashed in. Nothing was taken from the car and it did not appear that the person who smashed the window tried to get into the vehicle.
Gardaiare investagating the act of vandalism. They have urged potential eyewitnesses of anyone who may notices any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 057 777 5000.
