Class news as Kilkenny school’s expansion plans get green light
A county Kilkenny school have been granted permission to build new temporary classrooms.
Kilkenny County Council has given the Board of Management Colaiste Eamann Ris on the Kilkenny Road in Callan the go-ahead to build two new classes at the school.
Coláiste Éamann Rís is a Christian Brothers secondary school for boys that caters for around 200 students at present.
The school can no build the detached single-storey temporary demountable building which will contain the two extra classrooms.
