Could it be you? Dream €100,000 start to New Year for lucky local Lotto winner
A LUCKY Kilkenny Lotto player has had a dream start to the New Year after they were among the top-tier prize winners in this week’s National Lottery Millionaire Raffle.
The lucky punter bought his €100,000 ticket in the SuperValu on Main Street, Ballyragget.
They joined fellow winners from from Offaly, Roscommon and Kerry who also won top-tier prizes of €250,000 and €100,000 in the Christmas Millionaire Raffle.
Christmas Millionaire Raffle ticket number 191401 won the top prize of €1 million. The ticket was sold at Kavanagh’s Village Forecourt, in Clonroche, Co Wexford which also sold a €2.7m Lotto Jackpot ticket in November 2010.
With a total of 5,567 players winning prizes of between €500 and €1 million in this week’s draw, the National Lottery has urged people to check their raffle numbers to see if they have scooped a windfall.
