Council approves plans to expand housing estate in county Kilkenny

Kilkenny County Council has given a developer the green light to increase the number of homes in a housing development subject to certain conditions.

Oli Developments Limited has applied to build more than 45 homes in a development at Arbourmount, Rockshire, Ferrybank on a phased basis.

In planning for the current phase, Oli was originally given permission for 10 homes but went back to the council looking to build 12 homes on the site.

After consideration, the local authority granted the developer permission to go ahead with the plans to build the 12 two-storey, four bedroom homes.

The developer has also requested permission to build more homes as part of the final phase of the development and this request is still being considered by the council.
