County Kilkenny GAA club unveils ambitious new plans
A local GAA club is looking to upgrade its facilities to bring them in line with some of the best in the county.
The Rower-Inistioge GAA Club has applied to Kilkenny County Council for permission to build an all-weather pitch at their grounds at Ballynunry, The Rower.
In the application, the club sought approval to construct “an all-weather synthetic playing pitch with perimeter fencing/netting”.
The plans also involve the construction of a “5m high ball wall and floodlighting, along with all associated site works at our ground”.
A decision on the application is due in the New Year.
