COVID-19 UPDATE: Two further deaths brings total up to nine as 235 new cases confirmed
Two more people have died of Covid-19, the Department of Health has said as it announced 235 new cases of the disease in this country.
It brings to 16 the number of deaths related to the respiratory illness on the island after it was announced that two more people had also died in the North.
The total number of cases in the State now stands at 1,564.
