Cracking news: Kilkenny children to get their chocolate eggs as Easter Bunny added to essential worker list

Children in Kilkenny can relax … the Easter Bunny has been added to the list of essential workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

That means it can deliver Easter eggs all around the county and country this coming weekend despite the lockdown following confirmation from Minister for Health Simon Harris in a Tweet this week

“Important news for children,” he wrote. “Many of you contacted me & asked me to if the Easter Bunny was allowed work this weekend.

“I have checked with our top doctors & the good news is he can.

“But he has been contacted to remind him about washing his hands regularly & keeping his distance.”
