Drink driver arrested in Kilkenny city had no insurance, tax or NCT
A suspected drink driver was arrested by Kilknny gardai on Covid-19 patrol over the weekend.
Kilkenny gardai also confirmed the driver had no insurance, tax or NCT.
A local Garda spokesperson said: “A varied night tour in Kilkenny which was capped off with a driver arrested on suspicion of drink driving, results of blood sample analysis to follow. The driver’s vehicle was also devoid of any evidence of tax, insurance or NCT.”
Meanwhile, Kilkenny gardai also revealed they have recovered an electric bike, which they believe may have been stolen. They have encouraged the owner to come forward.
