Let there be light (but not too much)! Kilkenny drivers cautioned by gardai
Gardai have urged Kilkenny motorists to “light up correctly”.
They issued an appeal on social media after taking pictures of motorists in the city showing some vehicles with no lights on, while other drivers were stopped for “unnecessary use” of fog lamps.
A local Garda spokesperson confirmed “several drivers were cautioned”. The spokesperson added: “Let’s make a huge effort to use our lights correctly. This doesn’t save money but may cost lives.”
