FESTIVAL FEVER: Your free rockin’ guide to every major concert in Kilkenny this Summer

KILKENNY is the place to be this summer, with some of very best national and international acts of every description to grace stages at venues around the county.

But tickets are selling fast, so get ahead of the crowd with our full list of events and acts in order to avoid disappointment.

Some of them are almost upon us. The increasingly popular Kilkenny Roots Festival is takes place this weekend while the Cat Laughs will also draw huge numbers to the city in a few weeks.

Ballykeefe Amphitheatre will have you on your feet with The Stunning and Finbar Furey and many more over the summer festival season.

If you prefer race cars, Gowran Festival of Speed returns this August Bank Holiday at Gowran Racecourse. Or grab a partner and a stetson for the lively Kilkenny Country Music Festival at Gowran.

Cartoon Saloon will host the second ‘Kilkenny Animated’ with a series of talk exhibitions,
performances and workshops to celebrate the world of animation. Also included will be
comedy nights, visual storytelling, installations and previews to delight fans and animators.
