From meteorite showers to thunder: skies above Kilkenny to light up again tonight
Fresh on from last night’s spectacular meteorite showers, now Kilkenny has been issued with a Status Yellow thunder warning!
Met Éireann said the urgent warning will see scattered thunderstorms throughout the evening and tonight.
The warning will affect all counties in Leinster – as well as Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal.
The warning will remain in place until 8am tomorrow.
