Gang of men seen interfering with car in Kilkenny town in middle of night

Gardai are investigating a strange case of criminal damage in Ballyragget.

In the early hours of Thursday morning a car pulled up on Bridge Street and a number of men got out of the vehicle. They then proceeded to cut a pipe underneath a car parked on the side of the street.

A local Garda spokesperson said the men “were disturbed” and returned to their car before driving away.

Local gardai are investigating the incident. They have urged anyone with information to contact Castlecomer Garda Station.
